Creamy Sausage Tortellini Soup

15ozTomato sauce
4cupChicken broth
2tspItalian seasoning
9ozCheese tortellini
3cupKale leaves
1tbspFlour
1/2cupMilk
1/2cupParmesan Cheese
1tspRed pepper flakes

In a large heavy pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering

Add the onion, carrots, and garlic and cook, stirring frequently

When the carrots have softened and the onions and garlic are fragrant, add the sausage

Carefully drain excess fat

Add the tomato sauce, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning

Raise the heat and allow the liquid to come to a boil

Add the tortellini pasta and cook according to package instructions

Turn the heat off

Add the flour to the milk and whisk well then slowly stir the mixture into the soup
