Cinnamon Rolls

3/4cupMilk
2-1/4tspActive dry yeast
1/4cupSugar
4tbspMelted butter
2ea1 Egg & 1 Yolk
3cupFlour
3/4tspSalt
4tbspSoftened butter
2/3cupDark brown sugar
1-1/2tbspGround cinnamon
4ozCream cheese
3/4cupPowdered sugar
3tbspSoftened butter
1/2tspVanilla extract

Warm milk and add yeast.

Mix in sugar, butter and eggs.

Stir in flour and salt until dough forms.

Knead 8–10 minutes until soft and slightly sticky.

Let rise in a greased bowl, covered, until doubled (about 1–1½ hours).

Roll dough into a 10×14-inch rectangle.

Spread butter, then sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly.

Roll tightly into a log, seam-side down.

Slice into 9 rolls using dental floss or a serrated knife.

Place rolls in a parchment-lined 9-inch pan.

Cover and let rise until puffy and touching, 45–60 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.

Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla until fluffy.

Spread over warm rolls.
